Recently Jesse and Weston of The Coffee Podcast were kind of enough to invite me on their show, and it was a lot of fun. We discussed hand pours, demystified extraction a bit, and talked about the importance of being nice to customers in coffee shops. I shared some fun stories about the most memorable cup of coffee I ever made (you'll never guess, but it involved perhaps the world's toughest man), my worst-ever third-wave customer-service experience (hint: it happened in San Francisco), and the best advice I've ever received.
