I’m pleased to announce my May, 2026 online roasting masterclass. This will be my only online roasting class in 2026.

This is an intensive, streamlined class, with lots of new information about air roasting, roasting QC tools, and many updates. The class will consist of a 3–hour video students may view as often as they would like for two weeks. Those who view the class live are welcome to text questions, which I will answer during the livestream. 

Included in the class is membership in a two-week private online coaching group. So, if you can’t join live — don’t worry — you will have two weeks to view the video and ask any questions you have in the online forum. The class will air live on May 16.

Attendees will have access to the seminar and coaching group from of May 16—29 . I will answer questions in the group every day during those two weeks. Students are welcome to ask general roasting questions, post roast curves, and discuss other’s questions and curves as well. I have been doing such group consulting for many years; it is a safe, comfortable, and effective way to learn about roasting.

• How to tune a roasting machine’s RPM, airflow, and burner

• How to adjust airflow to minimize conduction and maximize development

• Strategies for managing air roasters and drum roasters

• Sample roasting systems

• Green-buying strategies and best practices

• And much more, including specific advice about using popular machines such as Loring, IMF, Diedrich, Giesen, Probat, and the Roest sample roaster.

The livestream will occur May 16, 3pm CEST (6am in LA, 9am in NYC, 2pm in London, 10pm in Seoul.)
